My Work

I approach image-making as a process of exploring materials, colour, feelings and place — hence I work in a wide range of media. Curiosity is my inspiration: it has led me to unusual and unique combinations of materials and techniques.
I share my excitement for imagery with learners in Toronto and Manitoulin Island, my second home. I have taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, and at Edwards Studio on Manitoulin Island.
I have been a practicing artist since I graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design 12 years ago.In 2010 I was awarded 1st prize in Mixed Media at the Sheguindah Heritage Art Show, Manitoulin Island.
